I know of a college student and my course requires a lot of research work. Sometimes, she uses books as sources, but, most of the time she searches on the internet. When she gets some information in the internet, I am always afraid that she might be getting wrong information. I told her to keep on asking friends what the best websites are today. But, how do you really make sure?
If singers are awarded platinum and gold awards for their bestselling songs and albums and if books are cited as the best source of particular information, is there an award for the best websites in the world? I asked her this, and with this question lingering in her mind, she hurriedly went to a nearby internet cafe and looked for the awards given to the websites considered as the best in quality and reliability. I found out that there are numerous awards for the website, too! Some of the famous awards are the Webby Awards, World Wide Web Awards, and the American Association of Webmasters Awards.
Now, we know what websites we must surf to ensure the quality of my research papers. Thank you to some of these award institutions for launching website awards. Now my friend can ask her friends, "Does your website have a reputation for being the best website in the world? Are you sure you're not getting wrong information from the net?"

The 21st century witnessed the most number of advanced technological changes. One of these changes is the use of websites which are database driven. Web designing covers every endeavor, including wed design awards.
These are numerous web design awards. But, be very wary because some of these awards may be fictitious and only exist for their own selfish motives and desires. They are not there to further enhance and promote web designing and its importance.
The CPSnet Web Awards is an exception. This body had their humble beginnings in June 2001. From that time on, they have never ceased to make better the web designing job, making it truly pleasurable yet challenging. In 2002, the CPSnet Awards were redefined, paving the way for such special awards given to deserving web designers. Several upgrades were undertaken in the year 2003 regarding standards and matters like accessibility which was finally initiated in 2004. The following year, things really got better. It was like their golden year. They have reaffirmed their goals to maintain high standard, and upgraded accessibility and usability as well. Earning one of CPSnet Web Awards clearly indicates great quality of work on the part of the designer. The award is indeed such an honor and inspires a designer to further hone his craft in web designing.
