Title Element and Accessibility

Don't you just hate it when some of your viewers send in suggestions on making your internet site accessible and navigable regardless of internet browser? People with disabilities often browse cyberspace nowadays. They do this by using screen readers. Well, screen readers make most websites fully navigable with access keys and keyboard shortcuts. But, I seem to have noticed most websites forget to include in most of the title elements of their home page descriptive text regarding contents of the page. They usually include just either the registered name of the corporation or the web publisher's main service and products.

Usually, then you could easily make out what the page is about. Unfortunately, the screen reading population of internet viewers rely on the title element to give them the basic information they would be needing on the page. Hence, without an appropriate description included on the title element of each page of your internet site, these viewers would either have to navigate through contents of each page, or they would just totally deviate from it.
